Workshop

Where it all starts

We had a very busy number of years at our workshop in the center of Salisbury. We are now situated near Southam, a short distance form Leamington, Warwick and Coventry.

The workshops here form part of a private country house set amongst woodland on the edge of the Southam.

Heritage & Tradition

Renewing the potential.

It is really important to us that we honour the work of the past when working on old instruments no matter their condition.

Working on a great many revered basses has given us a valuable insight to the master's approach to construction that it is as if we have touched history. We try to learn from this and use it in our daily workshop methods.

Charles has traveled as a Churchill Fellow to study the great centers of violin making throughout France, Germany Austria and Italy
